Guncad Arises – A Month of Madness

Trending: GhostGuns.com for 3D Printed Build Kits | #1 Legal 80% Build Kit

Hey, everyone. It’s Wirb. I’ve been dealing with on and off computer issues the last two months, and it’s been a real drag on writing. So much has happened since the last article, I’d take weeks to catch up. Given that, today’s article is going to be a bit different: a synopsis of some of the biggest developments over the last several weeks.

Brace yourselves, the ride’s going to get crazy.

The Urutau’s Ascension

It may look like every other Urutau, but this gun is the most revolutionary of its type.

Two months ago, famed Brazilian gun designer Ze_Carioca announced to the world at large that a firearm in development for years was near the end of its development cycle. The Urutau has been highly praised over its dev cycle as one of the most ergonomic DIY PCC platforms ever made. However, the gun has lacked one key feature: the ability to fire fully automatic. While prior printed designs like AWCY’s Scz0rpion proved printed guns were up to the challenge of full-auto, none were DIY.

The final select-fire design includes the option of a suppressor, designed by Nikolai Romanov of OKB-69 fame. Nikolai is most well-known for the FTN.3 suppressor used by Luigi Mangione during the UnitedHealthCare assassination, but his skills are on full display here with the Urutau’s integrated system. It remains to be seen whether or not the gun will see widespread adoption by militias, paramilitaries, or criminals. Regardless, it’s one of the impressive technological feats of the last couple of years in Guncad.

Carioca, we salute you. Documentation for the select-fire Urutau should be finished within a few weeks.

Another Bowl of Everytown Slop

This article is frankly deserving of a dedicated response, but I already had a near-aneurysm the last time I read it. I don’t want to go through that again, so let’s summarize. Everyone’s favorite bullied-child-turned-political-org, Everytown, is posting more rubbish. Ordinarily there’d be nothing different between this and the rest of their garbage. However, if you take a look at the title of the article, you’ll understand the relevance.

Policymakers, technology firms, and civil society must act urgently to address the dangers of 3DPFs. A multipronged strategy is essential. This includes 3D-printer manufacturers and software companies developing and implementing algorithms that detect and block the printing of firearms and accessories. In concert with the 3D-printing industry, lawmakers should take steps to regulate 3D-printing technology in a manner that makes it impossible to use a 3D printer to print a gun. Public institutions like schools, libraries, and community tech labs should implement clear policies and software restrictions to block the printing of firearm components on 3D printers. Further, social media and other online platforms should significantly improve their moderation of content that promotes or distributes 3D-printed gun blueprints or features instructions and advice for building 3DPFs.

If any of this sounds familiar, it’s because it is. My article in response to Dr. Yannick Veilleux-Lepage already effectively debunked most of the nonsense Everytown tries to shill in this bloated paper. Everytown promotes further legal restrictions in concert with technological stops to try and prevent bad actors from doing bad things. As mentioned in my article, these solutions are easily defeated and there is nothing that can be done to stop Guncad.

Thanks for playing, boys. Come back and try again later.

Stubbs: Kraut-Lover Extraordinaire

This year’s really been picking up for retro guns. Gearhead Guns debuted the first new Nambu Type 100 in almost 80 years at SHOT this year. Insite Armory did likewise with their own Holy Grail: the American-made Dragunov SVD. Even the M1 Garand has made a return thanks to the Civilian Marksmanship Program, for better or worse.

But while most teams are lucky to get a single reproduction out, one man stands above the rest for his devotion to the Iron Cross. That man is Stubbs.

Go ahead, tell the gun show people it’s an original. They won’t care at these prices.

Over the last year, Stubbs, under the Stubbs Customs label, has released an almost ridiculous array of resurrected Nazi munitions. The Stiehlhandgranate. The STG-44, beating out the millions of dollars spent by PSA on trying to create the same gun. The Sturmpistole. A perfectly miniaturized Kar 98k chambered in, of all calibers, .223. No project of his, however, compares to SMP series.

Made in the image of one of the most legendary submachine guns of all time, the SMP has been designed in numerous variations and its release will be one of the most exciting in recent homebuilt history. Variants expected include the MP40, MP41, MP38, and even the extremely rare MP40/I. All are US-legal semi-autos but are apparently compatible with certain FRT systems.

One wonders when the reenactors are going to start building, or buying, these en masse.

Lichdom of Perverse Compare

To close the article off, we jump from firearms necromancy to actual necromancy. Joaquin Oliver was an innocent 17-year-old boy when he was murdered by utterly evil Nikolas Cruz. Cruz killed him, 13 other students, and 3 staff. Unfortunately, he was never tried as an adult and executed for his crimes to discourage others from following in his footsteps.

However, in a ghoulish twist made possible by the hellscape of modern AI, the death toll at Parkland is now down to 16.

Joaquin’s father, a rabid anti-gun activist for admittedly understandable reasons, committed the ultimate act of modern Frankensteinry. Using videos, social media posts, pictures, and a repository of data, he tried to bring his son back to life. Whether he ‘succeeded’ or not depends on whether you believe reanimating the dead is a good deed.

He’s ‘alive.’ And worse, he’s the worst version of himself he could’ve ever been.

This is defilement of a human being’s memory at its grossest scale. A bot programmed to shill gun control with a victim’s skin laid over it like a Necron flayer. The New York Post referred to it as “false. And grotesque. Like a dystopian plot come to life.” Second Amendment Foundation director Kostas Moros referred to it as “ghoulish and reprehensible.” Honestly, I can’t help but agree. Kostas did a better job than I honestly could of summarizing how this showcases the true vileness of gun control.

As he said, “Turning deceased people into digital marionettes spouting talking points is actually a great encapsulation of how the gun control movement shamelessly capitalizes on murdered victims to push its ideology.” This is the digital equivalent of trying to similarly reanimate Trayvon Martin or George Floyd to use the bots wearing their faces as political advocacy tools. Sickening. Let the dead rest and stop trying to summon them to aid your sick agendas.

Conclusion

The last several weeks have been a wild ride, both for me personally and for the world of Guncad in news. New releases, ever more deranged fanatics, and a political landscape where at best they’re ignored and at worst they’re defamed. The struggle continues onwards, however. In the face of gun crime, one can only remember that they and they alone are responsible for their behavior. And their self-defense as well.

I’m Wirb. See you next time.
