Supporting Hasbro’s Entry Into the Defense Industry
They say the toys we grow up with make us, but Nerf’s new Modulus scope makes me think one of you might actually be working for Hasbro undercover. To everyone’s surprise and intrigue, this “Baby’s First Night Vision Scope” is actually quite functional on top of being affordable ($30 on Amazon), featuring not only the IR vision mode but up to 5x magnification to boot.
Of course, the tinkerers immediately got to work adapting this wonderful little tool to the needs of the community, but Qwerm seems to have earned first blood on this enterprise with their Nods or Nothing release.
The package is a housing designed specifically to mount the Modulus on any picatinny-equipped build, along with some extra quality of life improvements for use in the field. Known mainly for their accessories work, Qwerm is an experienced dev with several projects under their belt, so this release is sure to impress.

Technical Specs
The files are designed to accommodate PLA+ as a minimum, though the eye cup can be printed in TPU or another flexible material. Documentation recommends specific print settings. Durability may vary depending on selected print materials and settings.
The AA battery pack has been removed; instead, power is delivered either through a 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC power cable or an 18650 battery. The housing also supports an additional phone-sized fisheye lens to increase field of view. The package also includes an optional IR illuminator mount and clamp-on eye cup.
There are also several mounting options for those of you who may want to add this to a helmet or other piece of equipment.
